FISHERSVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance with a recent theft that occurred at Augusta Expo in Fishersville, Virginia.

On November 17, 2024, at approximately 4:30 pm, a vendor displaying items at a gun show at Augusta Expo was loading items into his pick-up truck in the parking lot near the entrance of the main building.  Video footage shows two individuals standing nearby. A female approached the vendor; the male who was with her approached the vendor’s truck and took a briefcase belonging to the vendor. Inside were several valuable coins valued at over $20,000.00. The suspects then left the area in a Black Nissan SUV.
