CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – The Virginia Film Festival will begin its 2024 Year-Round Film Series at the Violet Crown January 23. Organizers announce it kicks of 6 o’clock that evening with legendary documentarian Frederick Wiseman’s latest film… Menu-Plaisirs-Les Troigros. It’s the 44th film of 93-year old Wiseman’s career, and it’s an immersive look inside the artistry and industry of the Troisgros family’s Michelin 3-star restaurant.

The year-round series continues in February with a free 20th anniversary screening for the award-winning documentary Paper Clips… followed by a discussion with writer, producer, and co-director Joe Fab.

Tickets are at VioletCrown-dot-com.
