CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – A family of four had to find someplace else to live over the weekend after fire heavily damaged their house late Saturday night in the 1200 block of Raintree Drive. Firefighters were dispatched at 10:24pm and got their 5 minutes later to find a two-story structure in flames. Occupants were home at the time and were able to evacuate safely and without injury, along with both their pets.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, though it’s considered accidental at this time. The family is being helped by relatives.
