WOODBRIDGE (WINA/WTOP) – Prince William County Police have charged an 18-year old Gar-Field High School student with misdemeanor sexual battery in an incident reported in a school restroom a-month-and-a-half ago. In a November 30 Daily Incident Report, police say Lamine Mallouk of Woodbridge was charged November 27 in an October 18 incident. The victim, a female student under 18, reported the incident to a family member who then reported it to police.

A source tells WTOP Radio that Prince William County Schools removed Mallouk from the school immediately after they were made aware of the incident, and has been restricted to online work. Because Mallouk was removed from the school, WTOP reports the decision was made not to notify parents until police completed the investigation that has now resulted in the misdemeanor charge.
