CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Charlottesville City Council approves Inez Gonzalez as the new Executive Director of the Police Civilian Oversight Board. City Councilor Brian Pinkston told Morning News he understands this board has frustrated residents with a clunky start… and she’ll help get it going.
Gonzalez worked for the Newark, NJ police for 25 years, including a stint in internal affairs… and most recently worked as a Regulatory Enforcement Inspector for the Department of State in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Bureau of Enforcement and Investigation’s office.
She’ll begin work in Charlottesville May 1.
