CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WINA) – A fourth man has been charged with burning an object to intimidate on public property during the torch-lit march-turned-riot that ended in front of University of Virginia’s Rotunda on Aug 16, 2017.

William McAffe Williams, 38, was denied bail during a Friday, May 5, hearing before in Albemarle County Circuit Court.

The Nocona, TX, man asked that he be granted bond so he could resume work and return to his wife and seven children, all of whom are under 10. One of them was born after his April 1 arrest.

Albemarle County Circuit Court Judge Claude Worrell has not ruled out bond but ordered Williams, who goes by Buddy, to provide more evidence of his employment and residential history before he makes a decision, stating that he would be willing to set another hearing next week.

Wil Zachary Smith, who was granted bond on May 3, also lives in Nocona, TX. The two served as bodyguards for Robert “Azzmador” Ray, a well-known figure among American white nationalists.
