CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Albemarle Police are investigating a late Thursday night armed robbery of the Tobacco Planet store on Seminole Trail near Woodbrook Drive.
The robbery happened around 11:30pm when a black male wearing all-black clothing entered the store wielding a handgun and demanding cash. The gunman was given an unknown amount of cash before he exited the store in an unknown direction.
