EARLYSVILLE (WINA) – Albemarle County Police have made an arrest in the February 17 hit-and-run of a pedestrian in Earlysville. Police Tuesday arrested 33-year old Jesse Paul Morris of Earlysville and charged him with felony hit-and-run, driving with a DUI-revoked license, and using a cellphone while operating a vehicle. Since the incident, police had been looking for a single-cab Ford pickup truck with possible damage to the passenger side mirror and front turn signal.

Eventually, they were able to identify the suspect after an investigation.

The pedestrian was transported to UVa at the time with non life-threatening injuries.
