CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Albemarle County Police are investigating a Tuesday night homicide in the Timberland Apartments off Old Lynchburg Road. Officers were called shortly after 9:30 last night to the 300 block of Timberland Lane for a report of shots fired. They got on the scene and found a 34-year old Charlottesville man had been shot. Joshua Lamont Jones was transported to UVa where he was later pronounced dead.
