CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Albemarle County police have arrested a 28-year old in the sexual assault of a child under age 13. The incident was reported Friday and a police investigation has resulted in charges against Albemarle resident Cameron Scott Jared Mayo. He’s in the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail with no bond on charges of committing rape by sexual intercourse, and committing forcible sodomy… both involving a child under 13.
