ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – At approximately 11:30 pm, on Sunday, February 12, 2023, Albemarle County Police Department responded to a call of a shooting in the parking lot of the Red Crab Restaurant. Upon arrival, officers discovered that an adult female victim was transported to UVA via personal vehicle and is currently being treated for her injuries.

This incident remains under investigation at this time.
