STAFFORD (WINA) -UPDATE: The Amber Alert from Stafford County has been canceled as both children reported as abducted have been found safe, and the alleged abductor is in custody. Deputies responded 3:30 yesterday afternoon to Stafford Elementary School where 6-year old Riley and Ragan Crowder were reported to have been abducted by a parent. The school said they had no idea of a protective order against the biological mother, Rosa Gregg. The sheriff’s office says they’ll provide an further update later today.
ORIGINAL: The Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearinghouse have issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, for an abduction of two children that occurred on Tuesday afternoon at 1:49pm. Ragan Zion and Riley Zaley Crowder were last seen on Courthouse Road in Stafford and are believed to be in extreme danger. They are believed to have been abducted by Rosa Lecretia Gregg in a black Chevy Camaro, and the last known location is Rocky Mount, NC.
Ragan Zion Crowder, black female, black hair, brown eyes, 6 years old, 4 foot tall, weighing 50 lbs, and Riley Zala Crowder, black female, black hair, brown eyes, 6 years old, 4 foot tall, weighing 42 lbs. Both children were last seen wearing pink long sleeved t-shirts with yellow smiley faces, blue ripped jeans, Nike shoes with pink swoosh markings and soles, and black jackets with white fur on the hood.
The black Camaro has Virginia plates VCJ-5953. Gregg is a black female, black hair with blond braids, brown eyes, 5 foot 4 inches tall, weighing 150 lbs, light blue shirt, dark green jacket, tan pants and black boots and glasses.
Anyone who sees the individuals or the car is asked to call 9-1-1.
