Mrs. Phillisco Smith Alexander of Charlottesville, VA was born on February 10, 1966. She gained her wings on May 28, 2024, at the age of 58. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Annie K. Johnson and step-father, Lindsay Dupratt Johnson of Charlottesville VA; her brother, Harry Lindsay “Du”Johnson IV of Charlottesville VA; grandfather, Frank H. Keyes of Charlottesville VA; grandmother, Annie Mills Keyes of Charlottesville VA; and grandmother, Josephine Smith of Charlottesville VA.

Mrs. Phillisco Attended Albemarle High School. After High School she later decided to join job corps to pursue a job trade. After working many jobs, she finally found her passion job for working in the school systems with children. She drove school buses for over 10 years until her health decided to turn, that impaired her vision to do so. That did not stop her passion to continue to work with children. She then became a licensed Childcare Provider. She owned her own home Daycare Center for over 15 years. Where she provided much love to family and friends’ children throughout Charlottesville VA.

She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory her father, Brisco (Miranda)Smith; husband, George Alexander; four daughters, Sade'(Collin) Smith Nance, Ulanda Smith, Natasha Alexander, and Gabrielle Alexander; one step-son, Damon Adams; three granddaughters, Namyia Mickens, Shamara Brown-Jordon, Shanice Phillisco Taylor; seven grandsons, Ty’shawn Terry, Lamont Scott-Smith, Jayden Smith Muhfooth, Simon Moore, Demarko Moore, Nashawn Mickens, and Emmanuel Bishop; three sisters, Sherita(Sterling) Grady, Cassey (Rick)Fortune, and Ada Whiting; aunts, JoAnne Stephens, Katie Keyes, and Teresa Walker; an uncle, Eric Fultz; a special person, Keauna Brown as she loved as her own; dear close friend, Kassandra Kilby; and a Host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
