CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA)  – A heavy police presence much of Sunday after Albemarle police responded to a “mental health crisis” during the morning at the Carriage Hill Apartments.  ACPD officers were dispatched around 8:30 Sunday morning with fire and rescue called in around 10:30. Police call it an isolated incident and were able to “contain” the distressed individual.

The individual was reported in custody around 9pm.
