STANARDSVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Greene County Sheriff’s Office announces they, along with the 3A Narcotic and Gang Task Force, has arrested a 23-year old Stanardsville resident after raiding a home in the town and finding drugs and money. Law enforcement had been investigating the distribution of fentanyl when they were led to a home at an address they haven’t revealed. They executed a search warrant Tuesday and seized about 700 M-30 pills that are presumed to be fentanyl, about 60 grams of cocaine, a firearm, and $2329 in cash. As a result, they’ve arrested 23-year old Standardsville resident Deangelo L. Taylor on one count of distributing fentanyl, another count of distributing cocaine, possession of a firearm while in possession of Schedule 1 or 2 narcotics, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Further charges are pending at Taylor was being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.
