BARBOURSVILLE (WINA) – Heavy damage to a home in an early morning fire near Barboursville. Albemarle fire says while all 6 occupants were able to get out of the house at 3330 Burnley Station Road, a family pet is unaccounted for.

Units were first dispatched just before 5 this (Monday) morning and arrived at the home 17 minutes later with a tanker truck. The two-story structure was fully involved in flames.

The investigation continues and Burnley Station remained closed into the afternoon for ground operations.
