CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – An emergency sewer repair will keep E High Street between the Stewart Street & Meade Avenue intersections (1300 block) closed from Wednesday, April 17 through Friday, April 19, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. That to replace a sewer lateral which will require a detour for both eastbound and westbound traffic. A flagger will be in place at the intersection of Meade Avenue and Stewart Street to alleviate any backups. Citizens are advised to utilize alternative routes during this period. Thru traffic to neighboring businesses will be accommodated.
