ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Two people were displaced by a Monday afternoon fire in the 400 block of Stagecoach Road.

Albemarle County Fire Rescue units were dispatched for a structure fire at approximately 3:12 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2024.

The first apparatus arrived on scene within 8 minutes to discover heavy smoke conditions. The residents, who were not home at the time, are being assisted by family and the American Red Cross.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Albemarle County Fire Marshal’s Office.
