PALMYRA, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an April 7 incident where a large rock thrown at a vehicle traveling down Nahor Manor Road, just west of Thomas Jefferson Parkway, injured a female passenger. According to reports, a vehicle was travelling in the 800 block of Nahor Manor when someone hurled a very large landscape rock, shattering the windshield, and passing into the fully occupied passenger cabin. The passenger was struck in the face and “required emergency care at a local emergency department.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office at 434-589-8211. Anyone may also provide details anonymously through the Crimestoppers Tip Line at 434-977-4000. A reward may be available for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the offender. The Sheriff’s Office believes this to be an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the community.
