CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – At approximately 5:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024, Charlottesville police officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired in the 700 block of Prospect Ave. Officers arrived to find multiple shell casings and property damage, although no details have been given. There were no reported injuries. The area between University Manor and the entrance of Greenstone on 5th had to be temporarily blocked as officers and detectives gathered evidence.
