CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Charlottesville Police Department has made an arrest in a shooting incident, but the department is still looking for two additional suspects.

Shots were fired in the 700 block of 6th St SE on March 5, 2024.

With assistance from Virginia State Police and Albemarle County Police tactical teams, search warrants were executed on March 13 in the 100 block of Stribling Avenue in the city of Charlottesville and the 800 block of Mallside Forest Court in Albemarle County.

One juvenile male was taken into custody for attempted malicious wounding, reckless handling of a firearm, and possession of firearm by a convicted felon related to the March 5th case.  CPD holds additional arrest warrants to be served on the individuals below and is asking anyone with information on the March 5 incident to call the Charlottesville Police Department at (434) 970-3280 or Crime Stoppers Tip Line at (434) 977-4000.
