HOT SPRINGS, VA (WINA/AP) – The NTSB is trying to determine what happened when a small private jet crashed in Bath County near the Hot Springs airport Sunday afternoon, killing all five people onboard. State Police say it was a small crash site but everything was burned, leaving the tail numbers of the aircraft unidentifiable. So, investigators are now trying to ascertain the flight path and the victims’ identities, who are the pilot, three other adults, and a child.

The Federal Aviation Administration identified the plane that crashed in some woods around 3 Sunday afternoon as an IAI Astra 112.
