NELSON COUNTY, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Virginia State Police is investigating a single-car crash that seriously injured two people.

A 1968 Chevrolet Camaro was headed east on Beech Grove Road when it spun around, ran off the left side of the road, and struck a tree on the passenger side.

The driver of the Camaro, Charles D. McGann, 62, of Afton, Va., and his passenger, Mark D. McGann, 64, both suffered serious injuries.   Mark McGann was wearing a seat belt while Charles McGann was not.

Charles McGann has been charged with failure to maintain proper control.
