NELLYSFORD, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Nellysford and the Wintergreen communities are about to have what is essentially a JMRL book lending vending machine. The Jefferson Madison Regional Library and Nelson County leaders invite the community to a Wednesday ribbon-cutting celebrating the launch of a 24-hour library kiosk installed at the Valley Green Shopping Center. Available 24/7, the library kiosk is stocked with a “lucky day” collection of high-interest books for all ages. Patrons can browse hundreds of titles and instantly borrow items with a JMRL library card.  A book return for JMRL materials is also available.

Nelson Memorial Library staff will regularly restock the kiosk and collect library materials from the book return, and you’ll still need a valid JMRL library card to check books out. There will be refreshments and demonstrations of the book lending vending machine at Wednesday’s ceremony.
