RICHMOND, VA (CvilleRightNow) – Governor Youngkin is endorsing for President the man who once called him “Young Kin… now that’s an interesting take, sounds Chinese, doesn’t it”. In a note through his Spirit of Virginia PAC after Super Tuesday, the Governor writes, “voters in the Commonwealth and across the country have spoken loudly for President Donald J. Trump, and I endorse him for President of the United States”. Youngkin touts “his record on border security, restoring American leadership around the world, reducing taxes, and lowering the cost of living for all Americans stands in stark contrast” to Joe Biden.
Richmond mayor and Democratic candidate for Governor Levar Stoney calls the endorsement “a slap in the face to millions of Virginians… who rejected Trump’s bigotry in 2016 and 2020, and will do it again in November”.
