CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – For the first time since 2021, Notre Dame will visit Scott Stadium. The Fighting Irish, who have a scheduling agreement with the ACC for non-conference games, will be Virginia’s seventh home game in the 2027 season, the third straight year the Cavaliers will host that many home games.

UVA is 0-5 all-time against Notre Dame, losing most recently in South Bend, Ind., in 2024, 35-14.

In 2027, the Cavaliers will also host Arkansas State on Aug. 28 and William & Mary on Oct. 16 in its other non-league games. The date and time for the Notre Dame game will be announced along with the ACC conference schedule in the new year.

In league play in 2027, UVA will host Louisville, Pittsburgh, SMU and Virginia Tech. It will play on the road at Boston College, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina and Stanford.
