CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Brazos Tacos announced it will be closing its Barracks Road location in November 2027 in a social media post this week.

The original post cited rent that was “too high for this concept.” That post has since been deleted and replaced with one that does not give a reason for the impending closure.

The post said the restaurant would be, “operating normally until then. So come enjoy tacos and margaritas with us this final year.”

Brazos, which has operated its original location in IX Park since 2015, opened its Barracks Road store in July 2023. The IX Park location will remain open.
