CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – An individual has barricaded themself into a residence on the 800 block of Orangedale Ave. on Thursday night, according to Charlottesville Police, drawing a large police presence.
CPD responded to the location at approximately 8 p.m., according to an announcement, for a domestic incident.
“The situation has since evolved into an individual barricading themselves inside a residence,” according to CPD. “Roads in the immediate area have been shut down as officers work to safely resolve the incident.”
