CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A Charlottesville man is facing four child exploitation charges following a cyber-tip.
On Tuesday, at approximately 11:49 a.m., detectives with the Charlottesville Police Department arrested Eric Lamont Hawkins, 48, with one count of possession of child pornography, possession of child pornography, 2nd offense, possession of child pornography with intent to distribute, and possession of child pornography with intent to distribute, 2nd offense, according to a CPD release.
The case originated from a cyber-tip that was directed to CPD as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force, of which the department is a member.
