ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – On Wednesday, January 18, 2024, at approximately 10:18 am, career and volunteer units from Albemarle County Fire Rescue were dispatched to a report of a structure fire in the 3200 block of Plank Road.

The first suppression unit arrived at 10:32 am, approximately 14 minutes after dispatch, where units discovered heavy fire conditions in the two-story outdoor building.

 The outdoor structure was not occupied at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

 The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Albemarle County Fire Marshal’s Office.
