CHARLOTTESVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — UVA Health is hosting another Know Your Numbers event this Saturday at the Mount Zion First African Baptist Church from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The event will provide free lab testing for attendees valued at over $1000, including tests for blood sugar, cholesterol, complete blood count, prostate for man and thyroid for women. The event will also offer screenings for blood pressure, vision and health risk assessments. Mammograms will also be available for women who previously registered before the deadline on Wednesday.

The event will also feature giveaways for basic haircuts for men, massages & acupuncture and clothes. Cash prizes will also be available, and the event will be catered by MZFABC Nutrition
Ministry.

This is UVA Health’s third year hosting the event, but it’s first year opening it up to both men and women. The event had previously been for just men, with UVA Health hosting a version of the event for women back in July.
