CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Albemarle County Police are conducting a suspicious death investigation after discovering a pair of elderly homeowners dead from gunshot wounds in their Covesville residence on Wednesday.

Police conducting a welfare check on the 5500 block of Windward Cover Road found 77-year-old Dennis Miller and 76-year-old Frances-Hooper Miller deceased.

ACPD believes the shootings to be an isolated incident.  The investigation is ongoing.
