CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – With the situation at Michigan State University too familiar for the University of Virginia, UVa President Jim Ryan has tweeted support to East Lansing.

Ryan tweeted shortly after 11 this (Tuesday) morning, “our hearts go out to our friends and colleagues at Michigan State, especially to those who were injured and to the family and friends of those who were killed.”

The tweet ends, “My colleagues and I are reaching out to offer support to our counterparts at Michigan State, and I ask that we all keep that community in our thoughts and prayers.”
