CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A heads up from Albemarle County Parks & Recreation to use caution late week upon entering Biscuit Run Park for some construction activity going on. Parks & Rec in a release says Thursday and Friday from 7AM-to-4PM. the trailhead at the Route 20/Scottsville Road entrance will have alternative access between the parking lot and trails. There will be directional signage and Parks & Recreation staff onsite to direct visitors upon entry to the park. You’re urged to use caution when entering the park and follow all posted signage.

Workers are paving the trailhead off the entrance area to improve access to the connecting Trailhead, ensuring a smoother transition onto the connecting trail. Construction will be complete Friday, June 13, at 4 pm. During trailhead construction, visitors can still safely access areas around the construction zone and the secondary trailhead.
