CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville Police are investigating a reported sexual assault Saturday morning on Old Preston Avenue. Police got the call shortly before 8am of the incident where the woman reported walking down Old Preston around 4 or 5 that morning when a man began following her. The sexual assault reportedly took place in an alleyway in the area.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’11” in height, with a muscular build and short hair wearing jeans and a dark colored shirt at the time.
