STANARDSVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – State Police continue investigating a crash early last Thursday morning in Greene County that killed a 60-year old driver. State Police say Teresa L. Dwyer-Shifflet of Stanardsville was driving a 2008 Kia Rondo north on Madison Road around 5:35 Thursday morning near Commonwealth Drive in the northern tip of Stanardsville when she went off the right side of the road. The vehicle sideswiped two trees before crashing into a third head-on and she died at the scene.

What happened is still under investigation.
