SPOTSYLVANIA, VA (CVILLERIGHTNOW) – A shooting late Tuesday afternoon in Spotsylvania County has left three people dead and three others hospitalized. According to Spotsylvania Sheriff Roger Harris, deputies responded around 5:30 p.m. to the area of Olde Greenwich Circle after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived on the scene, deputies found multiple gunshot victims.  As of Tuesday night, investigators had confirmed three fatalities. The three surviving victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The situation was described as an “active and fluid investigation” with no suspects in custody at the time of the release.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to come forward and to “remember your phone call or online tip can make a difference.”
