CHARLOTTESVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The University of Virginia will hold a public memorial service for the late President Emeritus John Casteen the afternoon of Tuesday, April 15. It will be 3:30-to-4:30pm at the Old Cabell Hall Auditorium, the building facing the south end of the Lawn. Casteen was UVA’s 7th President and served the second-longest tenure from 1990-to-2010, topped only be the University’s 1st President, Edwin Alderman. The public is invited, and the service will also be livestreamed.
