CHARLOTTESVILLE (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UPDATED 3/24 10PM: 2nd-year big men TJ Power, a transfer from Duke who saw little playing time, and Anthony Robinson, who had some good moments in his first year with limited playing time, have entered the transfer portal.

The day the University of Virginia formally introduces its new head coach Ryan Odom, Hoos leading 2024-25 season scorer Isaac McNeely and vastly improved Andrew Rohde have entered the transfer portal. McNeely led the Hoos in scoring at 14.4 points-per-game, shooting just over 42-percent from behind the 3-point arc. Rohde, who struggled last year and the beginning of this past season after transferring from then-Division III St. Thomas, MN, shaped up into a Swiss Army knife type of player averaging just over 9 points and 4 assists per game after finding his stride in late January into February.
Though McNeely is in the portal, he leaves open the possibility of returning to UVA. He announced signing just last week to NIL Agent One Motive Sports (OMS) after having NIL deals this past season with CavFutures. Rohde has not indicated he’s open to returning. The two join 2nd-year center Blake Buchanan and 2nd-year point guard Dai Dai Ames in the portal on the first day players may enter. They have until April 22 to go in the portal without having to sit out next season according to NCAA rules.
