CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Having already postponed them from the past couple of days, the Virginia High School League has once again cancelled all state championship events that had already been rescheduled for Sunday and Monday. State championships are ready to be played for gymnastics, wrestling, and swimming and diving, but now it’s a matter of when. The VHSL has determined they cannot hold the rescheduled games as a result of the weather conditions and aftermath across the Commonwealth. The league now expects to hold the championships next week with announcement of dates, locations, and schedules to follow as soon as possible.
