CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Here we go again. The only certainty we have midweek is there’s going to be a major mid-Atlantic and Northeast snow storm.
As for impact on the Charlottesville area, we have the National Weather Service keeping the storm farther east and we get 1-to-3 inches of snow Wednesday, then continues the snow through 1pm Thursday with an additional 1-to-2 inches. But Accuweather has the storm tracking closer to the coast and dumping 6-to-10 inches of snow on us. Accuweather’s Jeff Nordeen says models Monday morning were showing higher amounts on either side of Charlottesville in most cases. A couple of the models paint the near 6-inch mark near Charlottesville.
