CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – There’s nothing else like it in the Commonwealth, and Monday was the debut of EnergyResourceHub.org to help Charlottesville and Albemarle area residents and businesses to connect with energy efficiency. Susan Kruse with Charlottesville Community Collaborative along with LEAP — or Local Energy Alliance Program — Executive Director Kate Vanlangen run the new site with funding from the city and county.
Kruse and Vanlangen say the problem isn’t that people have trouble finding information about making their homes and businesses more energy efficient. However, in that vast ocean, many especially with limited resources, get lost in determining what they can do. They say this hub is a place where individuals can connect with people who will help navigate what is best for their home or business in terms of incentives and what they can do. Click here to begin.
