CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Charlottesville Police are reporting a shooting early Tuesday morning in the Fifeville neighborhood, less than 3 hours after the previous one we’ve been reporting at 6th and Garrett. The last shooting happened around 12:45 Tuesday morning when a 30-year old woman was shot in the 400 block of Oak Street. She was taken to UVa where she’s in stable condition.
This shooting happened a bit more than a half-mile from the 10pm Monday night shooting at 6th and Garrett where a juvenile was shot, and a power outage hit that area at the same time. That juvenile was treated at UVa and since been released.
Anyone who knows anything about either of these incidents is urged to call CPD Detective Ronald Stayments at (434) 970-3939 or Crime Stoppers Tip Line at (434) 977-4000.
