CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Jefferson Area Board For Aging board of directors announces they’ve hired Judith Selzer as their new Chief Executive Officer to succeed Marta Keane, who’s retiring after 12 years. JABA Board Chair Dick Gibson said they conducted an extensive national search for its new CEO, and Selzer started work in her new position today (Monday). Gibson says she comes “with a 25-year career, mainly in the nonprofit healthcare enterprise sector”. Selzer’s LinkedIn says she’s served in leadership for 16 years in three Planned Parenthood chapters and has run her own Selzer 360 public affairs coaching firm “partnering with organizations to shape social justice narratives and shift public perception on complex issues”.
