CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Tim Longo, Associate Vice President for Safety and Security and UVA Chief of Police, will serve as a Distinguished Advisory Board member with the University of Virginia Center for Public Safety and Justice.
The Center for Public Safety and Justice serves as a hub for innovation, education, and leadership development in public safety, addressing the most pressing challenges of this era.
It also aims to empower public safety leaders to improve public service and enhance the well-being of communities, not just in Virginia but across the nation and beyond.
Charlottesville Police Chief Michael Kochis was appointed to the board in December.
