Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – LifeSpring Pregnancy Center, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and families facing crisis pregnancies, continues to make a profound impact in the community through its holistic approach to care. Offering free medical services, essential supplies, and spiritual guidance, the center remains committed to providing support without judgment.

Jeff Sexton, the board chair of LifeSpring, shared his personal journey to joining the organization. “One day, someone else at church who actually worked at LifeSpring approached me about being on the board. And you know what, it’s like a light came on. Like I’d never thought about that, and I think I could do that.” He felt a calling to serve at a strategic level, saying, “In helping the organization that way, I felt that God wanted me to do it.”

Jacob Dunn, LifeSpring’s Executive Director, highlighted the organization’s mission to support families for the long term. “Out of the 204 women that received an ultrasound this year, 165 of those women actually chose life. What we do is we walk with those families for the next two years of that child’s life, providing resources and support,” he explained.

LifeSpring also emphasizes its Christian foundation, ensuring all clients experience love and care regardless of their beliefs. “When they come to us, a lot of times it’s not the ultrasound, it’s not the pregnancy test it’s not the services that we provide but it’s the love that we show to that person that makes the difference,” Dunn stated.

As the organization continues to grow, its leaders remain steadfast in their mission to empower families and share hope through faith and practical support.
