CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Fresh off a College World Series trip last season, UVA baseball has unveiled its 2025 season schedule that features 30 games at Disharoon Park. It’s 54 games in total with 17 away games, and 7 at neutral sites. The matchups are scintillating for fans, analysts, and players alike. It all starts with three games against three different squads in Ponce, Puerto Rico to open the season on the weekend of February 14-17. Their opponents will be Rice, Villanova, and Michigan on the trip. The Hoos will also be participating in the Karbach Round Rock Classic later in the month, February 21-23 in Texas against Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Oregon State, a team they faced in last year’s NCAA Super-Regional.
The home opener is February 19 against George Washington. The schedule includes 8 teams in last season’s NCAA Tournament.
The stint of conference home games will feature series against Boston College, Duke, Stanford, Pitt, and Miami. On the road this year the Hoos will play series against two 2024 College World Series teams, the Florida State Seminoles, and the NC State Wolfpack, they’ll also battle Georgia Tech during a series in Atlanta.
The season will conclude with three games that will presumably decide the Commonwealth Clash for 2025 against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg May 18-20 before playoff Baseball begins.
