Billy E. Eppard, 85 of Charlottesville, Va. passed away on October 23, 2024 at Hospice Center for Acute Care surrounded by his family.
Billy was born on April 14, 1939 in Charlottesville, Va. Billy worked for the Virginia Department of Forestry as a Welder for many years and was a very devoted employee. After retiring he took a part time job at Antec building silk screening machines.
Billy had many hobbies throughout his life. Some of his favorites were working in his beautiful garden, throwing horseshoes with friends, and going to shooting matches (and winning!) He also loved to ride his lawn mower cutting his grass. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren as well as his friends. Billy would always tell you the truth about things even if sometimes it was too hard to hear. He was a very honest and honorable man and loved by many.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew H. Eppard and Emma C Lane, his loving wife Mary K. Eppard, Brothers Herman L. Eppard (Gee), Elijah Eppard (Buddy) and Sister Mary E Perkins Allen
His is survived by his sister Minnie P Eppard Kay, his daughter Amy L Eppard (Marcos Coca), Grandson Cayman Eppard (Kim), Grand Daughter Lauren Coca, and Great Grandchildren Brinley, Anthony and Emma
