RICHMOND, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Virginia’s federal disaster declaration has now been approved for more counties by the feds. Governor Youngkin notes “thanks to the coordination and partnerships at the local, state, and federal level, Virginians in Bedford, Bland, Carroll, Pittsylvania, Russell, Wise counties, and Radford are now eligible for direct federal aid.” That adds to the earlier approval of Giles, Grayson, Pulaski, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise, and Wythe counties and the City of Galax.
