CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank’s Mobile Food Pantry (MFP) distribution, originally scheduled for 9:15 AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Nelson Heritage Center in Arrington, VA, has been canceled due to anticipated heavy rain and potential flooding. According a notice from the BRAFB, the decision was made to prioritize the safety of both the community and volunteers.
